The Challenge: Reaching Beyond Truck Access
The initial task was to transport an empty 40ft container. Using one of our SideLoaders, we safely lifted and transported the container to Bacchus Marsh. However, the final location was beyond the reach of a standard truck. Instead of leaving the unit short of its mark, we used container wheels to roll it into place.
The Solution: Using Container Wheels
Here’s how we did it:
- The container was unloaded roadside by our SideLoader.
- The rear of the container was lifted, and container wheels were fitted securely to each rear corner.
- With the wheels in place, the client used an excavator to lift and guide the front end.
- Together, this setup allowed the entire container to be rolled into the exact position as planned.
The job was completed smoothly, proving again how container wheels can make the difference when access is limited.
